Although it no longer graces the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, many students and alumni have fond memories of Belk Tower and its carillon chimes. Built in 1970 as a gift from the Belk family, the Tower was a hub of campus life until it was removed in 2016. Photography by Sheri Symanski.
